Position: Park Ranger (North)

Location: Remote northern region

Job Type: Seasonal, temporary

Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Park Ranger in the remote northern region. The primary responsibility of the Park Ranger will be to assist in the preservation and protection of the natural environment in the designated park area. This position will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions and may require physical labor and hiking over rough terrain.

Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned park area to ensure the safety and security of visitors and wildlife
- Monitor and enforce park rules and regulations
- Provide assistance and information to park visitors
- Conduct trail maintenance and repair as needed
- Assist in the rehabilitation and restoration of park ecosystems
- Participate in emergency response and search and rescue operations
- Collaborate with other park staff and agencies on conservation projects

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in outdoor recreation or conservation preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of local flora and fauna
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
